Chosen by Area IV Superintendents to Serve on FADSS Board of Directors
The School District of Indian River County (SDIRC) proudly announces that Superintendent David K. Moore has been chosen by his fellow Area IV superintendents to represent the region on the Florida Association of District School Superintendents (FADSS) Board of Directors.
FADSS supports Florida’s 67 superintendents through leadership development and policy advocacy. As a Board member, Dr. Moore will help shape statewide priorities and promote effective educational practices on behalf of the Treasure Coast and surrounding districts.
This recognition comes as the SDIRC continues to demonstrate statewide leadership in educational excellence, recently earning distinction as the 5th-ranked school district in the state of Florida – a testament to its innovation, strong student outcomes, and unwavering commitment to making decisions that put students first.
“It’s an honor to have the trust of my colleagues to represent our region,” said Dr. Moore. “As a top five (5) district that leads in achievement and innovation, we are committed to helping drive progress for all students across Florida.”
As a district committed to transforming education to inspire and empower all students to maximize their full potential, the SDIRC celebrates this milestone as a testament to the strength of its leadership and its ongoing influence across Florida’s educational landscape.
Dr. Moore will begin serving on the FADSS Board during the 2025-2026 academic year.
